Katie Boyd Grondines

Katie is our paralegal and truly the one who keeps the trains on time in our office. She is an Atlanta native, raised in Brookhaven, and a proud graduate of The Westminster Schools and Birmingham-Southern College. After college, she came home to work in the film industry as a Location Coordinator on shows including Doom Patrol, The Walking Dead, and Citadel. Her last production was Superman (2025), where she served as Assistant Location Coordinator. The job took her to nearly every corner of Metro Atlanta, and she can still recognize just about any popular filming location in town. Feel free to quiz her on your favorite Atlanta-filmed movie!

Katie joined our team in 2025 and is now enjoying more work/life balance from her days in the film industry. The skills she built coordinating complex productions, like staying organized, paying close attention to detail, and keeping everyone calm and informed, translate surprisingly well to serving as a paralegal in an estate planning practice.

Outside the office, Katie sings in the choir at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and serves as Vice President of Communication for the Zeta Tau Alpha Gwinnett Alumnae chapter. At home, she can be found knitting or crocheting in front of Hallmark movies or Survivor, or listening to her favorite podcasts.

Katie lives in Gwinnett with her husband, Ryan, whom she met in college. She has a close knit family centered in the Brookhaven and East Cobb areas, so she gets to see them often, including her nephew, who joined the family in July 2026 and made her a very proud aunt.
