Celia “Deanie” Quillian

Attorney

Celia “Deanie” Quillian brings a unique perspective to estate planning and probate, having spent many years representing clients in estate and fiduciary litigation. Her litigation background gives her a deep understanding of the disputes that can arise after death, inspiring her to help clients create thoughtful estate plans that minimize conflict and provide peace of mind for their families.

An Atlanta native, Deanie graduated from Duke University and the University of Georgia School of Law. She began her legal career as a litigation associate at Powell, Goldstein, Frazier & Murphy before continuing her commercial and fiduciary litigation practice with Meadows, Ichter & Trigg and Austin & Sparks. After returning to full-time practice, she represented clients in estate and fiduciary litigation at Gaslowitz Frankel LLC.

In 2016, Deanie stepped away from litigation to devote herself to caregiving and volunteer service, including caring for two close friends through serious illnesses. That experience reinforced her belief that estate planning is about far more than legal documents—it is about protecting loved ones, easing burdens, and providing guidance during life’s most difficult moments.

Since joining Legacy Studio Estate Law in 2019, Deanie has focused her practice on estate planning and probate administration. Having personally served as both an Executor and an Agent under a Power of Attorney, she understands firsthand the responsibilities families face after a loved one becomes incapacitated or passes away. Her combination of litigation experience, personal insight, and compassionate approach allows her to guide clients with both practical wisdom and genuine empathy.

Deanie is an active member and elder of Northwest Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Board of Directors of The ALS Association Georgia Chapter, and a Founding Patron of City Springs Theatre Company.

Outside the office, Deanie enjoys flower arranging, bridge, travel, and the theater. She and her husband, Henry M. Quillian III, have been married for more than forty years, have two adult children, and recently welcomed their first grandchild. Deanie is also grateful to be a twenty-four-year breast cancer survivor.
